The Electro-Gnomonic Clock combines the classical, organic motion of a sundial with modern electronics to display an accurate representation of the time on a 24 hour cycle. The face measures 16" square, and remains fixed, either hanging or laid out flat, while the central armature houses a white LED which casts a shadow off the tip of the arm. This piece rotates once every 24 hours, and its shadow can be accurately read to within 2 minutes. Unlike ordinary sundials though, this clock functions with or without sunlight, and is not subject to seasonal variances. Uses 120 VAC.
